Today we can announce exact date and time for match vs. tka. This date is Thursday 02.09 at 19-00 CET.
Here is our line up for every map. First of all I wrote 3 players, who drive in case of 3v3, then (in brackets) players, who will drive in case 4v4 and 5v5 (as our opponent isn't sure that many people will come from their side). Also, sub. players are announces.

glhf]]> igorsoccer@mail.ru (Igor ) Last weekend, The EMS Russian qualifications have been played and 2 of our drivers were participating.

The EMS VII is now launch and the Russian qualifications were done Saturday and sunday. Some good pilots were registered, as Argus, Scoob, Gamble or M16 "waLdem".
About iF, Universal and SocceR were representing our team, even if this tournament is a solo-competition.

After 2 easy matchs, Universal fall against Gamble by 1-7, while Soccer did a perfect job and win vs N.i.k and then against a former iF driver, NemOmeN (7-3). On saturday night, on Loser bracket, Universal lost his match vs Molot, and so his chances to participate on EMS VII.

On sunday, SocceR started his day by an hard match against and other former player, Argus. But the challenge wasn't so big for our Soc who won by 7-0 and grow on the final of winner bracket, against probably the best russian player, Scoob. he lost 1-7 but had still one chance to win this EMS qualification.

And Soccer did it. With will, he defeated a promising player of Russia, maks92, in a difficult match (soc was conducted 2-5, came back for winning by 7-5). On the Grand-final, SocceR won 2-0 Scoob in a "friendly" but high-level match ( 7-6/7-4 ).

Congratz to SocceR who's now qualif on EMS VII !


For information: Wokinice is also taking part on EMS VII Ukrainian Qualifications and he can do a great job! he's one of the favorites with Des and GTua16

Rules and information:
This cup will take place on 11th of August @19-00 CET. Only iF players and players, who plays ESL for our team will be able to participate.
Everyone will see the maps only when cup will be started. There will be 3 maps - mini-tech maps 30-35 seconds. Firstly, we'll drive this maps in TA mode 7 minutes every map, then we'll score general points and determine 3 winners of TA. Then we'll separate players into 2 teams and play all 3 maps in Team-mode. In this way we'll get the Winner-Team and 3 best Team-mode players.

These players are invited to our cup:
xSpeeD, onyx, Nekan, soccer, Universal, Inf, KenT, Plus, Lexa, Tashok, Loverofspeed, Dimi, Kotwin, 4erry, Wokin, GERK, KubaYz, Scro, rzrbane, Sunrise, NoPro, Cyxapb. If you'd like to invite someone else, ask xSpeeD or soccer before please.

Today, Admins inform us of the Matchstructure, Schedule and Mapcycle for the championship.

We'll tell you the most important, but you can read the whole article HERE.


Match Structure & point system:

Submatchs stays like last season: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5

-The one who plays 1v1 can't play 2v2

-new restriction! players can only play 2 submatchs between 2v2, 3v3, 5v5. Only the one who plays 1v1 can play 3 submatchs.

Map system:

-9 maps, 3 maps played per match.
-The first mappack will be release the 13th august, so we have a lot of time to well train and be ready!
-2 matchs per week.


TEAM:

We still don't know in details, but it seams like we can have 16 drivers max. Players registered as managers can't play battles.

Tm news:

- Power Gaming is over, especially due to a lack or results
- Karjen, the WCG 2009 champion, joins Dignitas
- 2 teams tournaments are still played in Trackmania during the summer, TmT ( semi-final) and Trackcup ( Quarter final)
- The Giant Cup 8 qualifications are over, no iF player is qualified.
- New system in tm during the summer! you can earn money if you finish in the 10 first of one map, per week. info here. universal is already participating


infinity Formula:

More than a sad and horrific news for iF .... Our bro' and friend Lee died in a train accident, 11.07.2010 ... :'(
Rest in Peace Lee. <3 You'll always stay in our heads and hearts as a good and intelligent guy.
iF thinks and supports the family in this painful time..



Players:

Even if a lot of people is in hollidays or working ( think of you xSpeed ), you can actually see in tm:
nekan, universal, wokin, nop, .. and now soccer ! Who came back from the nowhere =D

Moreover, you can see Wokin and nekan playing the trackcup, the first with elf and the other plays on french team Saphire. Both of these teams are now in the loser bracket.
Our friend willo plays for tka and he's still in winner bracket of the playoffs.

Recruitment:

With this new tm season which is coming, iF needs some players to complete the line-up, we are thinking about having 20 players maximum.
First, we want a competitive squad for the ESL cps6, to win and pown the third league, and go back in the 2nd league. But because we went down in 3rd league, some of great players we are asking are refusing our offers. We are still looking for!

- We have already two new players, GERK and kubaYz ; who are obviously in a test period. We'll see their skills, motivations and 'fun side' in tm, and hope they will fit our expectations!
